Ashland Inc. to offer R&D facility tours during Coal Gen 2011 in Columbus, Ohio

DUBLIN, Ohio – Fabricator customers and specifying engineers are invited to tour the U.S. R&D facilities of Ashland Performance Materials, a commercial unit of Ashland Inc. (NYSE: ASH), on Wednesday, Aug. 17. The tours of Ashland’s Analytical Services and Technology facilities and its Composite Polymers Corrosion Testing Labs are offered in conjunction with the Coal Gen 2011 exhibition and conference being held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Three tours are being offered, with transportation available to and from Ashland’s local campus. Pickup times at the Convention Center will be 8 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. EDT. Participants will be returned to the Convention Center approximately two hours later.

“This is a great opportunity for our customers, as well as potential new customers, to get an up-close and personal look at the world-class technology available from Ashland.
