Eric Boni was appointed vice president, finance and principal accounting officer at Ashland in 2020. He oversees Ashland's global accounting and related activities including corporate and business accounting, corporate financial planning and analysis, credit and collections, accounts payable and master data.

Boni joined Ashland in 1994 as a project analyst in planning and development. He spent seven years in sales, customer service management and corporate accounts roles for Ashland’s former chemicals and plastics distribution business. After several years in corporate development, Boni became director of investor relations and led the function during the global economic recession in 2008 / 2009.

In 2010, Boni was named director, business analysis and in the following year was appointed vice president and treasurer. As vice president and treasurer, Boni led several large refinancing and share repurchases actions during the company’s transition to becoming a global specialty materials company.

A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., Boni earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Miami (Ohio) University and an MBA in finance and decision and information systems from Indiana University.
